This is the first English post in my blog. The reason to have it in English is just because those who do not speak English would not benefit from it :)
Today I have listened to a radio podcast of a very popular American solo performer Mike Daisey, a great fan of Apple. A while ago he visited the Chinese city of Shenzhen in order to see with his own eyes how the manufacturing process is going on there. In the program he is telling the story of his visit. It's really shocking! The key question of this monologue is
Does it sound credible that Apple does not really know that???
In fact, it's not just about Apple. Almost all electronics giants work in the same way...
I encourage you to sacrifice one hour of your time to go through it. You will certainly start understanding the world around you much better.
P.S. Mike's speech is very slow and clear. And so, even if you do not know English very well you will be able to get it.
